The Brickworks

The Goal
As an underground electronic music venue, the space needed a raw, heavy-hitting brand identity that matched the energy of club culture. The main constraint was technical utility: the visual mark had to be incredibly high-impact and easily scale across everything from tiny digital promotion graphics up to physical venue layouts.

What I did
I moved away from typical over-complicated event flyers and engineered a bold, industrial monogram and brand identity system. I focused on clean, high-contrast structural lines that stand out instantly in dark environments. I then tested and adapted the mark to make sure it retained absolute legibility and strength across a massive range of sizes—moving smoothly from a social media profile thumbnail to giant physical venue banners, artist visual backdrops, and capsule promotional merchandise lines.

The Impact
The venue received a powerful, cohesive branding system built with professional precision. The stark, industrial monogram gave the space a recognisable visual anchor that works seamlessly across both physical print and digital club promotion.
