The Goal
The owners built a massive local following running a cult-favorite micro-bakery right from their home kitchen. When they took the leap to open a permanent, physical shop on the high street in Nottingham, they needed a visual identity that matched their growth. The goal was to take their successful home-based business and give it a premium, established high-street presence.
What I did
To reflect the handmade, artisanal care that goes into slow-fermented baking, I avoided clean, corporate designs entirely. Instead, I developed a fluid, custom hand-lettered logo.
To bridge the gap between their digital brand and the physical shopfront, I took the design into the real world by hand-painting the primary branding directly onto the shop’s timber fascia and the main service counter inside.
The Result
The hand-painted storefront gave Coosh instant high-street credibility. It visually communicates the premium quality of their artisanal goods the second someone walks past, proving that a local business can feel both deeply traditional and completely professional.

“Paul designed the logo for our business which has been fundamental to our brand identity. He was able to interpret our themes for the business though great communication and attention to detail.
He has also helped us with a number of other projects including hand painted signage which looks immaculate as well as other graphic design work for our company.
Highly recommended!”
